Alan has been immersed in Chiropractic since graduating from the world famous Anglo-European College in England in 1993. From that time, he has been working in Newcastle upon Tyne building his own practice to one of the busiest wellness practice in the country. In fact Dr Alan is so passionate about wellness care that he is one of the foremost wellness coaches for Chiropractors in the UK. Helping them move from simply dealing with pain and focus on the wellness aspects of Chiropractic to enhance their patients’ lives.

After a holiday in Australia he felt that it was time to exchange the grey Newcastle sky's for the sunshine of the Gold Coast. 

Dr Alan's philosophy of lifelong learning has led to constantly searching for ways to improve the wellness of his patients. Backed by nearly thirty years of experience working with diverse groups from International standard athletes to government based professionals, He has looked after every age group. From a few hours old to over a hundred.He’s been mentoring Chiropractor in the UK for the past 15 years and in Australia for 7. He firmly believes that systems set you free and that you don’t need to be a extrovert to build a busy practice.

Having grown up in a Chiropractic family I graduated from AECC in 1993, after which I spent a year in Australia as an associate and a locum. My wife Sophia and I returned to the family practice in Plymouth England for 8 years during which time we set up a satellite practice and we were part of the small group that founded the United Chiropractic Association. Soon after we emigrated to Australia with our then young family, and we settled on the Gold Coast having bought a very run down Surfers Paradise Chiropractic centre.

During the past 20 years on the gold coast we have built a busy family based centre, developed and sold a neurological orthotic company, presented seminars around Australia and internationally focused on communication whilst physically demonstrating the power and scope of Chiropractic during the physical exam and adjustment. I have served as president of the Queensalnd branch of the ACA and as a national board member, and worked with V8 supercar teams for over 10 years.

Whilst my passion for adjusting members of my community has not reduced, I find that helping Chiropractors discover their why and how to implement this in their practice gives me a great sense of purpose. Chiropractic is an individual journey for which a one size fits all approach to coaching and mentoring rarely gets the results we want unless it resonates with our passion.

Dr Scott Vatcher currently runs a successful practice on the Gold Coast of Australia.  His clients have included Motley Crue lead singer Vince Neil, country music star Adam Brand, actor and former European football star Vinnie Jones, and the Adelaide Crows AFL team.

Although still in active practice, Scott’s main focus now is to leverage his experience as a certified posture coach to empower his people to improve themselves physically, mentally and even socially using the why, how and what of creating ideal posture patterns with his newly released amazon best seller book “Move it or lose it” and the online courses and programs derived from it.  Scott has been featured in Mens Fitness Magazine over a doz-en times and has been seen on NBC, Fox, and CBS.

Scott is a well travelled international speaker and author, chiropractor, entrepreneur and part – time podcaster. He is married to his wife Maia and they have a lovely daughter, Aurora. In his spare time, Scott likes keeping fit himself through mountain biking, trail running and interval training.
